Sebastjan has been a member of the NEXI training team for almost 10 years, providing expert-level learning content design, development, and consulting in collaboration technologies.

His professional career in voice technologies started in 1999 in a large, global call center where he was the on-call engineer. In 2006 he moved into the networking area and specialized in Cisco Collaboration solutions, while he was working as a senior expert at the major Slovenian service provider.

In recent years, Sebastjan has worked as a senior consultant and trainer with expertise in the areas of Cisco Collaboration, networking, and virtualization. His expertise was confirmed by Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certification (CCIE Collaboration #27592), a highly valued expert-level certification that ensures that Sebastjan has knowledge and experience in collaboration solutions integration and interoperation, configuration, and troubleshooting in complex networks and the challenges of video, mobility, and presence as the foundation for workplace collaboration solutions.

Apart from field and consulting engineer roles, he also acts as an instructor and content developer for specialized courses and workshops, sharing his knowledge with engineers around the world. He shows his skills as a designer and developer of numerous courses for Cisco Collaboration career certification and specialization tracks, up to the CCIE level. Cisco Systems recognized him as an expert technical training professional and granted him the Certified Cisco Systems Instructor (CCSI #32129) designation.

In his free time, Sebastjan relaxes in his home kitchen. He enjoys cooking without recipes, where his creativity is released and his brain is forced to expand its limits.
